Kids don't eat "nutritionally balanced options." They eat lunch. So we cook lunch. Real lunch, from real ingredients, made the way you'd make it at home if you had time, a walk-in fridge, and a standing relationship with the best growers in the region.

That sourcing is what sets us apart. We hand-pick our produce from trusted local farms and organic suppliers. Sometimes it's delivered straight to our kitchen, and sometimes we go get it ourselves so we can see what's freshest that week. No anonymous distributors. No frozen-then-reheated mystery. Just ingredients we've chosen on purpose, prepped that morning, and on the tray by lunchtime.

We feed kids across school districts in Marin and Sonoma every week, and honestly, they're our toughest critics and our best teachers. When a second-grader asks for seconds of broccoli, we pay attention. When a fifth-grader wrinkles their nose, we pay even more attention. Their feedback shapes every menu, which is why the food actually gets eaten, not traded or tossed.

  • We offer direct district partnerships with monthly invoicing, as well as per-family online ordering portals. Our team handles setup, training, and day-to-day logistics — most schools are up and running within two weeks.

  • Our kitchen is peanut-free. We accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan diets at no extra cost. Full ingredient lists and allergen flags are published with every menu.

  • Pricing depends on district contract size and meal frequency. Typical per-meal pricing ranges from $7.50–$9.50, with sliding-scale subsidies available for schools participating in free and reduced-lunch programs.

  • Absolutely — and we recommend it. We host tastings for administrators, PTAs, and student representatives so your community has a real say in what ends up on the menu.
