Dolores “Dee” Coleman
Bay Area organic chef Dolores Coleman, grew up around delicious food, inspired by her New York and West Indie roots. Her grandmother instilled in her a love for cooking and sourcing quality ingredients at a young age. This was where her love of finding creative and diverse recipes using the best ingredients began.
Coming up with memorable flavor combinations is her passion. Years before attending culinary school her skills were honed and tested in Marin’s catering arena. After graduating from the California Culinary Institute in 2011, Dolores tried her hand in several areas of the culinary journey, finally returning to her true passion of catering. “I love designing menus for my clients that will gracefully complete their event. I want you to always remember the food.”
Whether catering for a private party during a power outage (she did that not once, but twice) or creating tasty treats for a function with 2,500 attendees, each dish she prepares is crafted with delicious intentions. When Dolores isn’t creating masterful menus, preparing organic school lunches, and personally crafted home delivery meals, she is spending time with her family. Ever the sports mom, you may find Dolores at a swim meet or the latest WWE event.
As an organic chef, Dolores is dedicated to finding the spot where both organic quality ingredients and soul food meet.
